Corner With Love

Posted in Dramas, TW-Dramas with tags , on December 15, 2008 by bengalifob345

cornerwithloveAlright, the Corner With Love is actually really cheesy and full of cliches. But I don’t care! I mean look at those two! Alan Luo and Barbie Hsu are so cute together! OMG look at all those exclamation marks!

Seriously, the strong chemistry between the two leads was excellent! You’ll find yourself laughing, smiling, crying, and loving the scenes those two share. It’s adorable! So much so that I hope to see these two together again soon!

Rumour is that there’s a season 2. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Overall:
If you thought Devil Beside You was good then you’ll love this! BTW, I don’t like Devil Beside You…

Suppli (Sapuri)

sapuriStory:
The most interesting aspect of this drama was not the plot. Nor the romance, and definitely NOT Kame. It was all the advertisements! I loved that the story centred around ad agencies and the lives of the employees. Both characters’ personal and work lives are looked at, which made the drama all the more entertaining and not to mention refreshing. It was great to watch each and every character grow.

Acting:
Everyone did a great job especially the actors involved in the father-daughter story. I thought the supporting cast was better than the leads, but the leads weren’t bad or anything. Particularly noteworthy are Ogiwara Satoshi (Last Friends), who always seems to stick out in his dramas, and Shiraishi Miho, whose an actress to watch out for. Watch dramas by both these actors and fall in love…

Music:
Very appropriate and the theme song is quite catchy.

Overall:
I really did like the drama, but there were one or two parts in the series that were dragging. Still, it is worth your time and has just managed to make my favourites list.

Enjoy!
(get it?)

The Snow Queen

Posted in Dramas, K-Dramas with tags , on November 5, 2008 by bengalifob345

snowqueenStory:
Tae Woong’s life is shaped by the two people he meets at the age of 17. One his best friend and the other his love. Will he be able to live his own life after having lost his dear friend?

Acting:
Sung Yu Ri stole the show in ‘Snow Queen’, in my opinion. More so than Hyun Bin, though he did well too. She was amazingly cute, beautiful, funny, and downright perfect! Even the lil’ Bora did well!

Another actress I want to mention is Jung Hwa Young who played Bora’s housekeeper’s daughter. She is SOOO FUNNY! She literally steals every scene she’s in! Watch her in ‘I’m Sorry, I Love You’ where she was equally awesome. :D

Those two actresses were beyond exceptional, but everyone else involved was great too.

Music:
Beautiful songs that perfectly complement the evolution of the drama. You will notice the songs change as the plot progresses. The instrumentals were well done too.

Overall:
I’ve been touched by this drama. I’m still crying… Now I will spend the next few days lost in the world of the Snow Queen. *sigh*
