As you all know, the Da Vinci Code movie is set to open in theatres on May 19th. It’s been all over the media and everyone has been discussing everything from it’s religious aspects to it’s literary worth.Rezwan from 3rd World View featured a very interesting topic on the movie. He talks about censoring the Da Vinci Code.
My thoughts on the movie are purely personal though. Ever since I heard they were making the movie I was ecstatic! That was until I read that Tom Hanks was going to be Robert Langdon…
I know Tom Hanks is an awesome actor, but he just doesn’t fit this character! He’s too old and Langdon’s too tall (not that Hanks isn’t…). There are a dozen more reasons why Tom Hanks is a bad choice; all of which my girlfriends and I discussed. Maybe we’re being a little too girly, but come on. How many people actually pictured Langdon to look like Tom Hanks?!
There are soo many other actors that they could’ve picked! Like Matt Damon… *dreamy* T___T
